Dr. Jack Warner on color and vision at the Crocker Art Museum

by

Dr. Jack Werner, Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science, will be leading a lecture series, Color Transformations in Impressionism, at the Crocker Art Museum on April 26, May 17 and June 14.  This lecture series will examine the science of color as it was understood during the age of Impressionism and how the aging or ailing eye experiences color. The Visual Resource Facility has been working with Dr. Warner to provide him with high resolution images for his talks and as a result, we are working to enhance our collection of material on optics and vision. For more information about this lecture series, go to the Crocker Art Museum’s Lectures & Symposia.
